Cute store. Prices are relatively normal, I've seen some things slightly cheaper by a dollar or so.

They are very knowledgeable about everything they are selling. I have purchased roller skating wheels, wrist guards, and wheel barrings from them. They even promote local rollerskating classes from Roller Skate Detroit, which is one of the best places in the metro Detroit area for roller skating classes, especially if you are new to skating.

The staff were friendly and helped get a skateboard setup. I was able to get everything I needed to start skating and make an informed decision. There was a decent selection for a bigger guy to be able to skate The anime and random stuff was fun to look at

I don't know if it's because I'm a guy, or because I was curious about inline skates But the lady working with the most unnecessarily rude person I've ever met. I asked a question about shin pads And she was disgusted that I even asked and talked to me like I'm an idiot for even asking that question. I asked If they sold bearings and once again she talked to me like I'm an idiot because I didn't know exactly where they were in the store. Out of curiosity I said "ah damn you guys don't sell wicked bearings do you? They kill are pretty popular and quad bearing." This cost her to get angry/rude for no apparent reason, " I've been working here for 15 years I think I know what I'm doing" All in all I was super excited when I saw the shop especially when I found out that even though it says "skateboard" they sell more quadrulated stuff which is similar to inline But I've never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Whatever your name was lady Hope your day gets better 🙃.

I came into the store about 10 minutes before closing and Dame helped me figure out what I needed, she taught me a lot of what I needed to know to get off to s good start which really helped me out so much. She even stayed past closing to help me. The gear I got is fabulous and the prices were better than I thought they were going to be!
